Zazzle Pro Seller Update

Yes, I am a pro seller at the bronze level. This year has been one of lots of hard work plus a hefty investment in graphic resources for producing better quality designs.  I am starting to have more regular sales, even with all the downturns in POD sites and heavy competition among designers.

I regularly write on what is selling in my stores and give tips on improving success with Zazzle on my blogs.  Go ahead, look at those posts and sign up to my rss feed if they interest you.

Example of Latest Sale

This is an example of what is selling for me recently: my designs for office file folders. I like the combination of deep navy interiors with a gold and white look art deco pattern on the exterior. It is clean and crisp while elegant at the same time. Earlier in the year I sold a large number of a certain photograph of mine. That is unusual. I don't have a good camera, and haven't sold large amounts of my photographs, recently.

My Wild Side

I am always experimenting with my creative work. I try out styles, start up projects, some of which evolve into enduring endeavors, others which wither on the vine. I can't help it, I'm mainly in this for the fun of it.  Some portions of my work have taken on much more serious attitude.

When that happens I invest money in it. Then I am committed to make money from it, for it to pay of itself. Witness my efforts to build my websites and also grow in both expertise and output in design work.

However, those wild flings with topic, brands, or styles and genres make for a very eclectic (some would say chaotic) group of products.

I try to use different stores or collections to present a more cohesive group of products and styles:

Making Money on Zazzle

I don't always make the required payout balance for the month, but the gap between payouts is closing.  I almost never make referrals. The last time was January of 2016, but hopefully that will change. I am trying to promote more of my work than I have in the past.

Zazzle also offers volume bonus payments, and although I have not qualified since January of 2016 (again!), I may ... for the first time in two and a half years, qualify at the first level.

Perhaps this is due to applying myself to learning more about this side of my online business. The lessons of SEO that we need for blogging also works for design work on products in this site.

For a long time I wouldn't share very much on twitter, thinking it was meant more for conversations. My mind is changed because I don't like that platform very much, anymore. I share more of my work there, instead. I follow and read others tweets when on there, but don't engage very much anymore.

I have posted more of my things on Pinterest, but only sporadically. Truth be told, I cut my social media time to a fraction of what it used to be. Partly to get more actual work done, partly to not be sitting at the computer as much, and partly because it isn't as much fun anymore.

But I do like designing and selling on Zazzle!
